How dermal fillers work
Fillers are commonly used in aesthetic treatments to address signs of aging, such as fine lines and loss of facial volume, by injecting hyaluronic acid into the skin to add volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial features.
Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body and binds water, which is what gives filler its volumising effect. It is also reversible — if a result isn't what you wanted, hyaluronidase can dissolve it. That is a meaningful safety margin, and one reason we use HA fillers rather than permanent alternatives.

Dermal filler FAQ
How much do lip fillers cost?
Lip filler is $550 per millilitre. Cheek filler is $650 per millilitre and chin filler is $500 per millilitre. Most lip treatments use a single millilitre.
How long do dermal fillers last?
It depends on the area and how much movement it sees. Lips typically last 6 to 12 months, cheeks 9 to 18 months. Chin filler often lasts longer than either.
Does it hurt?
Most HA fillers contain lidocaine, and we can apply topical numbing beforehand. Most patients describe pressure rather than pain.
What's the difference between Botox and filler?
Botox relaxes the muscle that creates a line when you move. Filler adds volume where tissue has thinned. Lines you can see when your face is completely still usually need filler; lines that only appear when you move usually need Botox.
Can filler be reversed?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if you are unhappy with a result or if a correction is needed.

The Good Faith Exam comes first
Certain treatments require a Good Faith Exam before they can go ahead. If yours does, you will be told when you book, not when you arrive.
A Good Faith Exam is a short medical evaluation, $35, about ten minutes. A licensed healthcare provider reviews your health history, your medications, your allergies and what you want out of the treatment, and approves the service before it goes ahead. It is a safety step, and it is the reason a nurse-led practice can say yes to the right treatment and no to the wrong one.
We would rather you read that here than meet it at the counter. It is charged once, before treatment, not per visit thereafter.
We accept CareCredit, Afterpay and Cherry
Alongside the usual cards. Each is applied for through the provider, not through us, and approval and terms are between you and them. Ask at your appointment which of the three covers the treatment you are booking — coverage is not the same across every service.
