McAllen & Pharr

Med spa in Pharr, TX

Our Pharr med spa is on West Park Avenue. Botox in Pharr, dermal fillers, IV infusions and medical weight loss — all performed by a registered nurse, in a single treatment room rather than a clinic floor.

What to expect when you arrive

Before you come in

Book online at any hour, or call during opening hours. If you are coming for injectables, skip alcohol and anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen for 24 hours beforehand where you safely can — both thin the blood slightly and make bruising more likely.

Bring a list of your current medications and any history of neuromuscular conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding. We review all of it before treating rather than after.

On the day

Each location is a single treatment room, so the person who greets you is the person who treats you. There is no upsell desk and no package to sign up for.

A Botox session runs about 15 to 20 minutes with no downtime. An IV infusion runs 30 minutes to an hour, and you can read, work or sleep through it. Filler appointments take longer because numbing time is built in.

Every price we charge is published before you book — the Botox fee schedule, the per-millilitre filler pricing and the full drip menu are all on this site.

Afterwards

Aftercare, and when to call us

After neuromodulator treatment, stay upright for four hours and avoid exercise, saunas and rubbing the treated area in that window. Product can migrate if the muscle is manipulated before it settles, and the areas around the eyes and brows are the least forgiving.

Small raised bumps at the injection sites are normal and usually flatten within an hour. Mild redness is normal. Bruising is possible, more so if you have taken fish oil, vitamin E or anti-inflammatories recently.

After filler, expect swelling that peaks around day two and settles over a week or two. Lips swell more than anywhere else and look their best at about two weeks, not on the day. Do not judge a result before then.

Call us if swelling is one-sided and worsening, if the skin over a treated area turns dusky or white, or if pain increases rather than eases. Those are uncommon but they are the ones we want to hear about immediately rather than at your next appointment.

Written aftercare goes home with you, and you can call (956) 904-8826 during opening hours with any question, however small.
